Balance is key in cricket, and the Zwingo Training Aid is the perfect way to make sure yours is well-honed. Its simple: for batting, you flip it out to full extension, stand on the board assuming your normal guard, then practise playing shots. With or without facing a ball, simply going through the motions of playing a shot while on the board is a challenge but one that gets easier the more you do it, which, of course, is the whole point. In addition to improving your balance, the boards linear structure helps your body learn and maintain correct alignment, aiding your positioning when youre at the crease in a game. There are plenty of drills to try: one-leg balancing, batting with one hand, and its great for slip fielding practice too.
